Client: Griffith University
Project: S02 Level 7 AEL Alterations
Duration: Nov 2014 – Mar 2015
Project Value: $715,000
Project Details: We were again pleased to be working with Griffith University, this time at their South Bank Campus. This project involved the complete renovation on the 7th floor of an existing building. Works included such items as new partition walls including a number of glass partitions, new air conditioning, electrical works, ceilings and floor coverings. The existing balcony was enclosed so that the space could be utilised as additional office space and meeting rooms. Extensive demolition works were undertaken to allow for the new floor plan. Forward planning was imperative on this project with access for deliveries of materials and tools via scissor lift only. This renovation was undertaken within an operational environment. Special consideration was given to the implementation of fire requirements. Evacuation points and procedures had to be altered to allow the building to be occupied during the renovation.
We are working hard at South Pine Sports Complex to finalise construction of the new soccer facilities. These facilities which include a High Performance Club House and a Local Club House facility along with 4 new soccer fields will provide a much welcome addition to the complex. We are sure that after the excitement of the World Cup Soccer recently held in Australia that soccer clubs will be receiving an influx of players.
